- Goal
- The goal of this project is to improve the way the ODP handles category charters when many categories involve the same type of information. This includes
- making recommendations for software enabling standardized information to be included in all category charters of a specific type.
- developing standardized information for some specific types of charters. This would begin with the categories in the Regional template. Follow-up projects could expand this program to other areas.

- Responsibilities of Project Leader
- Lead forum discussion, and solicit input directly from project team members to form recommendations.
- Compile list of recommended software features into a proposal to be implemented by ODP staff.
- Develop standardized information for categories in the Regional template.
- Responsibilities of Project Team Members
- Assist project leader in discussion and in drafting of software proposal.
- Assist in testing any new software before release.
- Assist in developing material to be used for specific categories.
- Responsibilities of Project Sponsor
- Be available to assist project leader and project team as needed.
- Coordinate with programming on the implementation of software to carry out the project's goals.
- Measures of Success
- Software will be available to implement standardized category charter information.
- Standardized category charter information will exist for categories in the Regional template.
- New software will make the standardized category charter information show up in the appropriate places.
